Zimbiri is the third Bhutanese artist to exhibit her work in a solo exhibition for the past one month in Taipei.
The exhibition, titled “Tall Tails” opened at the Taipei Expo Dome on May 4 as part of an “Art Solo Fair” where over 70 galleries participated to showcase the works of select artists.
Tall Tails is a collection of exquisite paintings of tigers done in natural mineral pigments. The majestic creatures in black and orange-yellow against backgrounds of black and beige are painted in a distinct style that lends an element of mysticism and fantasy to the works.
