【A Winter’s Tale】

Tansbao is pleased to present “A Winter’s Tale”, featuring the works of artists Shen Han and Zimbiri. Through their art, the exhibition explores the intricate interplay between memory, desire, and culture, offering a glimpse into the artists’ inner reflections.

Shen Han’s works feature fragmented landscapes where color, form, and brushstrokes visualize memory while creating an emotional space for introspection. The use of negative space adds openness, as if the image is an unfinished, ambiguous story full of possibility. Through these subtle landscapes, Shen Han explores the shifting terrain of the mind, moving between desire and memory in search of meaning.

Zimbiri’s “Head in the Clouds” series explores self-reflection, with the tiger symbolizing the “self” or “ego.” The works invite a deeper understanding of life’s challenges and reflect the artist’s spiritual journey. Each painting encourages viewers to contemplate the inner landscape of the mind, suggesting that facing difficulties with an open, non-judgmental attitude can lead to inner freedom and resilience.

Shen Han and Zimbiri’s works invite viewers into a wintery world where time, space, and emotion intertwine in silence, leaving a lasting impression and sparking deep reflection.
