ArtTaipei2025 即將開幕，丹之寶畫廊將以『離散與地域:喜馬拉雅現當代藝 術的亞洲敘事』呈現八位藝術家的創作，探索跨文化與離散經驗在當代藝術中的表現。
【離散與地域:喜馬拉雅現當代藝術的亞洲敘事】所探討的是「離散經驗」 (diaspora)如何在文化、歷史與地理張力中塑造藝術創作與身份認同。作為亞洲少數長期深耕喜馬拉雅現當代藝術的畫廊，丹之寶持續關注尼泊爾、不丹等藝術社群的創作與發展，見證並支持離散文化與地域記憶的當代表達。
此外，今年畫廊亦呈現與海外華裔藝術家的合作，透過藝博會搭建多元文化對話與交流的平台。展覽以「離散性」為核心，串聯八位藝術家——Asha Kama 訶莎•卡馬、Gympo Wangchuk 金寶•旺楚克、Qi Zhuo 齊倬、Sir Lain Singh Bangdel 萊因•辛格•班德爾、Shen Han 沈翰、Tenzin Gyurmey 丹增•葛美、 Tsherin Sherpa 才仁•夏爾帕、Zimbiri 金柏麗——的創作歷程與文化軌跡，呈現跨地域、跨世代的藝術對話，構建亞洲藝術中少見的敘事軸線。
重點藝術家|Lain Singh Bangdel & Tsherin Sherpa
重點藝術家包括 Lain Singh Bangdel 與 Tsherin Sherpa。Bangdel(1919–2002) 被譽為「尼泊爾現代藝術之父」，是最早以離散經驗回望本土文化的藝術家。 他出生於印度大吉嶺，曾旅居孟買、倫敦、巴黎與美國，跨文化的生活經驗形塑其獨特視野。Bangdel 的創作融合現代主義形式與南亞視覺傳統，既是文化回歸，也呈現離散藝術身份的再認識。其作品早年被法國龐畢度中心等國際機構收藏，並於 2024 年 Frieze London(Master)展出，彰顯深遠藝術影響力。
Tsherin 出生於加德滿都，18 歲離開尼泊爾，先後旅居台灣、印度與美國，累積逾三十年的跨文化生活經驗，直至近 50 歲回到尼泊爾定居。Tsherin 將自身流動經歷轉化為對身份、文化與靈性的探索，以傳統唐卡繪畫為基底進行解構與重組，探討身份認同、文化混融與全球化處境。他曾於 2022 年代表尼泊爾參與第 59 屆威尼斯雙年展，擔任尼泊爾國家館首度個展藝術家，目前亦於臺南市美術館二館舉辦個展〈宇宙迷宮:喜馬拉雅當代藝術──識界〉，展期至 2026 年 1 月 4 日。

展覽現場|
藝術家多件全新創作首次亮相
展覽現場涵蓋不丹藝術家 Asha Kama 及其後繼者 Gyempo Wangchuk、Zimbiri， 呈現跨世代的藝術啟蒙與創作網絡。海外離散藝術家如藏族流亡第二代 Tenzin Gyurmey Dorjee、旅居德國的華裔藝術家沈翰，以及齊倬的作品，皆以身體經驗與個人敘事回應集體歷史與文化差異。
此次為丹之寶首次代理齊倬作品，展出的〈Bubble Game〉全新系列以「吹製玻璃修復佛像」為概念，將殘缺宗教造像封入透明氣泡中，透過詩意幽默且精確的雕塑語言，探討離散與文化轉譯。

As Art Taipei 2025 approaches, TANSBAO Gallery presents Diaspora and Region: Himalayan Contemporary Art in the Asian Narrative, featuring eight artists whose practices explore the expressions of cross-cultural and diasporic experiences in contemporary art.
As one of the few galleries in Asia dedicated to the development of Himalayan contemporary art, TANSBAO continues to focus on the creative practices of artists from Nepal, Bhutan, and the global Chinese diaspora, building a platform for intercultural dialogue and exchange.
This year, the gallery also highlights collaborations with overseas Chinese artists, further expanding the conversation on diaspora and identity across borders. Centered on the theme of “Diaspora,” the exhibition connects the artistic journeys and cultural trajectories of eight artists — Asha Kama, Gyempo Wangchuk, Qi Zhuo, Sir Lain Singh Bangdel, Shen Han, Tenzin Gyurmey, Tsherin Sherpa, and Zimbiri — presenting interregional and intergenerational dialogues that construct a rare narrative thread within Asian contemporary art.
The exhibition unfolds through three main narratives: the rise of Nepalese modernism, the evolution of Bhutanese contemporary art, and the reimagining of diasporic identity and experience. Together, these threads trace a continuum from historical roots to cross-cultural creation, guiding viewers to reflect on how diasporic experiences generate new perspectives and cultural interpretations in art.
